WDZ series of railway locomotive and rolling stock wires and cables are insulated by low smoke, halogen-free flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin. The products are mainly suitable for power transmission of railway locomotive and rolling stock with rated AC voltage of 3 kV or less. They have excellent cold resistance, oil resistance, ultraviolet resistance, low smoke, halogen-free and high flame retardant properties.

Wire: Multi-strand tin-plated copper wire twisted. Chinese style
Isolation layer: wrapped with synthetic mica tape or temperature-resistant flame retardant tape, overlap rate (> 50%)
Insulation Layer: High strength, high temperature resistant cross-linked polyolefin insulation, optional color.

The rated voltage U0/U is 500V, 750V, 1KV, 1.5KV and 3KV. The rated DC voltage is 1.5 times the rated AC voltage.Long-term allowable working temperature of wire and cable: 125 product is 125 C; 150 product is 150 C.Minimum ambient temperature of cables: non-B-40 C; B-60 C.Permissible bending radius for laying wires and cables:Cable outer diameter (D) should be no less than 3-D when 20 mm or less.When the outer diameter (D) of the cable is more than 20 mm, it should be no less than 5 D.WDZ-DCYJ-125 cable can be used in oil contaminated environment; WDZ-DCYJ/B-125, WDZ-DCYJ/B-150 cable can be used in harsh environment with various kinds of grease contamination and non-high concentration acid-base contamination.Insulation Resistance at 20 C: The rated voltage of WDZ-DCYJ-125, WDZ-DCYJ/B-125 and WDZ-DCYJ/B-150 cables should be no less than 1010_.km.
